Skiing and cycling can be enjoyed nearby, while a bicycle rental service and ski storage space are also available on-site. Beautiful and comfortable building. Lots of space, and very well appointed and maintained. Staff were very helpful and courteous. (Lent us a drying rack, and helped me figure out the coffee machine in the morning). Unit was 3 minute walk to train station, and Mount10 eatery next door had good food and was great for late evening drinks. Would recommend Mount10 to anyone going to G-P for a few nights!

I had the most incredible stay at Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden, and let me tell you, I stayed in the panoramic room 255, where I woke up every morning to the most breathtaking panoramic view of the majestic Alps right outside my window. The room was spotless! The housekeeping team was so meticulous, they left no stone unturned in ensuring my stay was flawless. The bed was very comfortable! They even had this clever two-cover approach, which was perfect for those of us who have partners that like to "borrow" all the covers! But let's talk about the pool – oh, the pool! Set against the stunning backdrop of the Bavarian Alps, The pool seamlessly transitioned from indoor to outdoor with its automatic glass feature thing, adding an extra touch of magic. And guess what? The pool area was meticulously maintained, so you could just relax and soak up the breathtaking surroundings. And did I mention the gym? It was open 24/7. Though it leaned more towards beginner and cardio exercises, they had all the equipment you needed. The sauna and relaxation zone was a naked zone! It's the culture here, So i was told, as a middle ground, you can wrap your towel around. Now, let me tell you about the outstanding service I received from the staff at Kempinski. From the moment I walked in, they treated me like a VIP. The reception, bar, and staff members were so warm and attentive, they made me feel like royalty! They went above and beyond to anticipate my needs and provided personalized recommendations that took my stay to the next level. I can't thank them enough for their genuine passion for hospitality and for making me feel like a truly valued guest. The Activities team is top-notch and is the most useful and unique thing about this hotel!

Great family run hotel in the Bavarian Alps. Great breakfast and the host and staff were very friendly. Highly recommended!

All Rooms have balcony with a view. Some of the rooms have a direct view to Neuschwanstein castle. From the outside terrasse or in the large garden you have a beautiful view to the mountains and the castle. The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile — something you truly appreciate after a five-hour journey. The rooms are stunning, with a magical atmosphere and a breathtaking view of the castle. Honestly, the price feels almost too low for what the hotel offers. You can also book tickets for both castles directly through them, and they’ll hand them to you the next morning — super convenient. They offer the possibility to dine at their restaurant as well. We arrived too late for dinner, but they still prepared a tasting platter for two with sausages, cured meats, cheese, cherry tomatoes, and plenty of their delicious homemade bread. We couldn’t even finish it! Breakfast was absolutely outstanding — calling it “complete” would be an understatement. All in all, highly recommended. If I had to point out a flaw, it would be the flies — they’re everywhere. But hey, we still haven’t figured out how to control insect minds, so…

During the winter months the area is ideal for skiing, with ski lifts 3 km from Hotel AlpinaRos. The popular Königssee Lake is 5 km away. Everything was exactly as described and the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The view from the hotel is gorgeous and it is only 5-6 minutes walk from Berchtesgaden train station. Spa is small but cozy and the breakfast is excellent.

The staff is very kind and tries to help with any questions. Very good and quiet restaurant. Amazing and clean pool and sauna complex. Large and spacious underground parking.

Farchant is an ideal staring point for hiking and skiing, with several skilifts within 9 km. Zugspitze (mountain) is 15 kilometers away and Eibsee (lake) is 15 kilometers away. It was clean and comfortable. Hosts were very welcoming. The view was amazing. Good location, very close to the train station.

Decorated in a country house style, the elegant rooms at the Landhotel Guglhupf feature a private bathroom and high-quality wooden furniture. I loved everything. Great location, available parking space, great breakfast and lovely staff. The room was comfortable and had a nice view. We could even see the Neuschwanstein castle from the backyward. The location was amazing and with easy access to Füssen. A free bus ticket was also available. There was also free coffee and a delicious cake.
