All Rooms have balcony with a view. Some of the rooms have a direct view to Neuschwanstein castle. From the outside terrasse or in the large garden you have a beautiful view to the mountains and the castle. The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile — something you truly appreciate after a five-hour journey. The rooms are stunning, with a magical atmosphere and a breathtaking view of the castle. Honestly, the price feels almost too low for what the hotel offers. You can also book tickets for both castles directly through them, and they’ll hand them to you the next morning — super convenient. They offer the possibility to dine at their restaurant as well. We arrived too late for dinner, but they still prepared a tasting platter for two with sausages, cured meats, cheese, cherry tomatoes, and plenty of their delicious homemade bread. We couldn’t even finish it! Breakfast was absolutely outstanding — calling it “complete” would be an understatement. All in all, highly recommended. If I had to point out a flaw, it would be the flies — they’re everywhere. But hey, we still haven’t figured out how to control insect minds, so…

Decorated in a country house style, the elegant rooms at the Landhotel Guglhupf feature a private bathroom and high-quality wooden furniture. I loved everything. Great location, available parking space, great breakfast and lovely staff. The room was comfortable and had a nice view. We could even see the Neuschwanstein castle from the backyward. The location was amazing and with easy access to Füssen. A free bus ticket was also available. There was also free coffee and a delicious cake.

When you walk in there is a little market with fresh local fruits, milk, meat and cheese, wine and beer and snacks. Locally made artwork and souvenirs. It snowed our day of arrival and our host graciously provided us sleds and toboggans. You can actually see Neuschwanstein out in the distance among the Mountain View’s. It was a 15 minute drive to the castle parking. It was our best air bnb in all of Europe.

While booking it was challenging to find a modern looking property in the area. Maximilian Appartements were a great choice! Everything looked clean and new, there was even music in the shower 😍 Personnel were lovely and took dietary request into account for breakfast. Breakfast is like in a 5-star hotel, but for a very reasonable price. Tasty and beautiful. Multiple restaurants are within 20-minute walking distance. We loved our stay!

I had a short stay of 3 days for local business trip . I arrived 20 mins late after my pre arranged arrival of 10-11pm and was really happy to be welcomed from the owners , after being personally showed my room I had a great nights sleep in a very spacious and comfortable room . The breakfast in the morning was was very good with fresh coffee brought to your table . On an evening there is a great selection for meals to choose from the meals I had had the home cooked feel with great quality. I would 100% recommend this hotel great position,great hospitality 🙂
