I understand there was a recent renovation and they did a great job. The location is right across from the train station (walkable even with luggage) and right next to the gornergrat rail station. The staff were beyond pleasant and friendly, we especially loved the bartender (forgot her name lol). The spa is the most luxurious spa I’ve ever seen…and I’ve been to some lovely high end spas. We loved the pool! The breakfast buffet is great with fantastic coffee. Honestly…the attention to detail everywhere made our stay so very special.

It is only a 5-minute walk from Zermatt Train Station and Sunnegga Express funicular. Perfect location in centre of Zermatt's main street, 5 mins walk from the train terminal, amongst shops and restaurants. A view of the Matterhorn peak and the village from out shared balcony was an unexpected bonus. The room was very spacious - best we've ever had in a 3 star hotel - and heaps of storage. Breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful. Loved it!

The heated brine swimming pool (34°C), the steam bath and the sauna are perfect places to unwind after a day of skiing or hiking. Our guests are more than welcome to take advantage of the wellness and pool on the day of arrival (before check-in time) and departure (after check-out time). On request and for an extra charge, massages can be organised, as well. Excellent. Highly recommend to anyone who loves the mountains. Highest quality standards in everything. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. The staff speaks several languages. The view from our balcony to the north was enchanting. Mountains, goats, helicopters, paragliders, and sunrises. Quiet. No noise. Nothing disturbed our sleep. Excellent breakfast. Brilliant cheese list. Indeed, not every five-star hotel will have such quality breakfasts. Amazing heated pool, various saunas, hydromassage. Spacious, comfortable room. Cleaning every day. It is really useful to have a full mini kitchen where you can have a snack in the evening before going to bed. Central location. The hotel is a short walk from the train station, supermarket and other transport links to visit all the beauties of the resort. We were enchanted. Thank you to all the staff of Arca Solebad and Spa. This is the best place in Zermatt.

All winter sport facilities and cable cars can be reached easily on foot. You can rent or buy skis on site and tickets for the lifts and cable cars are sold at the front desk. The ski bus stops right in front of the Bristol hotel. Heaven on Earth!! Perfect location, in the heart of the town and 5min walk to the ski lift. Friendly staff, smooth check-in, clean rooms and amazing facilities. We especially loved the breakfast buffet where you can make your own waffels and pancakes while enjoying the view of the Matterhorn. Will definitely be back. Higly recommend Hotel Bristol!!
