The Gerlitzen-Kanzelbahn cable car is 800 metres away and the stop of the free ski bus can be found right in front of the hotel. A riding centre can be reached within a few minutes drive and the city of Villach is 10 km away. The hotel was easy to find--centrally located on the main road. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The air conditioning actually worked, I was so thrilled (the other hotels on our trip had advertised air conditioning that didn't really work after all)!! The AC was fully adjustable in our room, so I sat there on the bed like a penguin that sits under the snow machine in the exhibit at the zoo; it was heaven. The breakfast was SO GOOD. Americans, this place had the crispiest bacon I have ever seen on the European continent. On our way to and from our room, we passed through a game room with foosball and pool tables, so naturally I challenged my husband to a game of pool (I won). There was on-site parking, and the connecting restaurant was also fantastic--we had dinner there. Our room also had a balcony which was nice. When we mentioned to the front desk upon checkout that we were going to the lake on our way out of town, they gave us a coupon so we wouldn't have to pay to go to the public beach.

The apartment is equipped with literally everything you will need ( Fully equipped kitchen with cleaning set in cute box , washing machine and iron facilities, fast speed Internet, TV with streaming services like Netflix, there is a dedicated parking space just outside the building, an elevation that reach every floor and there was an AC in our apartment not that we need it as the weather was nice and there was mosquito net on the window and balcony doors) . Beautiful view of the lake and 3 Grocery store nearby and they direct you to a access to a beach nearby to swim or paddle on the lake . Villach center is approximately 10 Min drive .

A selection of activities are offered in the area, such as skiing, snowboaring, horse riding, windsurfing and diving. A paragliding landing spot is in the immediate vicinity of the property. Several hiking and cycling tracks start right outside. Petra and her husband are wonderful hosts, they were so kind and helpful. The apartment we booked was spacious and clean, with everything we needed. It is a short bike ride to the lake, perfect location! Can’t wait to come back!

Nice rooms and bathrooms, exceptionally clean. The hotel offers private access to Lake Ossiach which is outstanding! My mother had a room with a balcony with an absolutely stunning view. The hotel also has two terraces that are accessible to all guests, and the view is breathtaking here, also. Delicious breakfast that offers a great array of food and drink choices. The owner and other staff are extremely attentive to their guests!

The apartment has a garden to relax in after a busy day, along with ski storage space. We visited for the 2nd time. Great property by the lake. To our surprise they updated the toilet and the bathroom since our last visit. Will come back again.

Mathiasl Panorama Ferienwohnungen's spa area also includes an infrared cabin, steam bath and relaxation room. The closest slopes are only 5 km away and a free shuttle service to the Ski Area is offered. A ski storage is also available directly next to the slopes. Everything was amazing! House was clean with a stunning view of the lake. The hosts were very warm and welcoming! Definitely recommend 💖
