Ski passes can be bought on site. In summer, many hiking and mountain bike trails are close by. Fantastic location, you can ski out and in the hotel. Ski area is great, after-ski parties as well in nearby cafee. Nice spa area and great friendly personel. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Just a 5-minute walk both from Heiligenblut’s centre and ski area, the family-run Hotel Kaiservilla features a spa area with a Finnish sauna and a steam bath, and a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. The Großglockner High Alpine Road can be accessed 50 metres from the hotel. Spacious room and bathroom. Lovely views from all windows, either the church or the mountains. Extremely friendly reception and chef! Breakfast was great, generous with local treats, even though we were one of only 2 occupied rooms in the hotel as it was end of season.

The restaurant serves traditional Austrian and Carinthian cuisine. the staff amazing the lady that checked us in was amazing so helpful really really nice people all of the staff splendid breakfast spoilt for choice thanks a lot 😁

The apartments also feature a kitchenette with a dining area, and they have garden views. Everything was great. Really good breakfast. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable.

The Gerlitzen-Kanzelbahn cable car is 800 metres away and the stop of the free ski bus can be found right in front of the hotel. A riding centre can be reached within a few minutes drive and the city of Villach is 10 km away. it was super clean, cozy, spacious. Stuff is very friendly, food is amazing and it’s dog friendly!

The Wallackhaus features a winter garden and restaurant with mountain views. In winter, a sauna, a steam bath, and an infrared cabin can be used by guests. There is also a relaxation room with panoramic mountain views, and the new Sky Bar. I loved the set up with the meals and self service. The hotel is beautiful, better than the photos, everywhere are amazing views. An exrodinary place to stay, I wish we could have stayed longer.
