Ski passes can be bought on site. In summer, many hiking and mountain bike trails are close by. The location was perfect. You exit the ski room and you are basically on the ski slope. The whole complex is perfectly clean including the spa, ski room and the room itself. Rooms are cozy, very well furnished and clean! Our room also had sauna in it so we didn’t use the public spa much. One of the best price to performance hotels i have ever been to. The staff is also extremely helpful and friendly. 10/10, would recommend.

Just a 5-minute walk both from Heiligenblut’s centre and ski area, the family-run Hotel Kaiservilla features a spa area with a Finnish sauna and a steam bath, and a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. Family-run for over 300 years, Gasthof Post in Rennweg is just off the A10 motorway and a 5-minute drive from the Katschberg Ski Area. It offers a sauna, steam bath, and free Wi-Fi. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian and Carinthian cuisine. Clean, nicely renovated and very friendly staff.

The modern accommodation at Wallner - Hotel & Wirt includes a flat-screen satellite TV and a bathroom. Most overlook the surrounding mountains. The apartments also feature a kitchenette with a dining area, and they have garden views. It was comfortable and we loved the garden unit setting of our room. The breakfast was excellent quality with a wide variety.

The Gerlitzen-Kanzelbahn cable car is 800 metres away and the stop of the free ski bus can be found right in front of the hotel. A riding centre can be reached within a few minutes drive and the city of Villach is 10 km away. Perfect breakfast (I would rate it 10/10). Great sauna, open daily. Lot of parking spaces. Modern and new facilities. Ski bus directly from the hotel to ski resort.

Skiing and cycling are possible within the area, and the apartment offers ski storage space. Very nice, spacious, clean, newly renovated apartment with a cute terrace. Kids especially liked the wall fireplace. 😀 Approachable and kind host.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, meticulously clean and comfortable property. The family that owns and operates this recently renovated property welcomed us with open arms and took very good care of us. Our room was very comfortable. The shower was great. Balcony views incredible. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in Carinthia, mostly locally sourced fresh products. Good coffee, good eggs. We are hiking Alpe Adria trail and this has been one of our favorite stays. Thanks for hosting us! I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone walking Alpe Adria or touring my car in the area.
