Very nice and clean cottage, had everything we needed! Beautiful peaceful location. The host was nice and attentive, and everything in the cottage hinted at them caring about their guests. Good instructions and welcome chocolates etc :).

Friendly staff, beautiful views, close to the ski centre, family friendly, comfortable apartment, towels and linen included. Parking place next to the apartment. We stayed during winter holiday so other attractions (mini golf, mini zoo etc) were unavailable. We're planning to come back on summer holiday - it must be even better then.

Lovely small cabin. I was located at the end of corridor so was extremely peaceful. Had shared kitchen which very useful, comfy bed, good sized bathroom, everywhere very clean. Clear instructions provided for checking in

I had an incredible experience here, would highly recommend! Everyone is extremely kind and helpful, the food is delicious and fresh, there are comfortable common areas with lots of couches and tables, my room was quite large with a comfortable bed and a gorgeous view out the window. You could not ask for a better location for winter activities--there are lots of trails for skiing, you can go over the mountains to the woods to cross-country ski, and the landscape is absolutely breathtaking. During my stay, I was able to attend the Ice Music festival in an igloo just in front of the hotel, and see ice sculptures by a local artist along the trails. I could not have asked for a better experience. Just make sure to plan ahead for a car or taxi from Ål since the buses don't reach that far up the mountain. I can't recommend it enough, I had such a beautiful stay and hope that I can come back!
