Staying at Lake Villa Kawaguchiko was truly an exceptional experience, making our trip to the Mount Fuji area unforgettable.The villa was spacious,incredibly clean, & well-maintained, giving us a comfortable and homey, mountain lodge feel.The accommodation provided a mix of bedding styles, including comfortable Western beds & the unique experience of setting up our own futons on the traditional tatami flooring.The kitchen was well equipped, allowing us to whip up quick meals during our stay.We were impressed that they provide amenities & access to natural spring water from Mt. Fuji for drinking and general use.The hot shower system had good water pressure, although I would advise bringing slippers as the bathroom floor tiles can be cold. The location is absolutely perfect, offering a stunning, unblocked view of Mount Fuji, which we could often see from the car park. It is situated perfectly for sightseeing and relaxation, being a short walk to Lake Kawaguchiko and super near to the famous Maple Corridor, also known as Momiji Kairo. We were able to walk there to enjoy the autumn scenery, festive atmosphere, food trucks and stalls. The hospitality provided by Hiro san & the staff truly stands out. Hiro san was the best host I have ever met, offering genuine kindness, being very responsive, & giving us fantastic, spot-on recommendations for dining and activities that turned out to be the best of our entire trip. The staff were super friendly and helpful, speaking English well & providing useful information about the surrounding area. The hotel shuttle service offered to & from Kawaguchiko station was a great help for our travel plans. For animal lovers, a charming bonus was the presence of many adorable resident cats around the reception area.

First of all - the location is great! It's right next to the train station, but at the same time it's not noisy during the night, as the trains stop in the evening. The room was clean and furnished with everything we needed, there was even a heating pad on the bed. The view of Fuji from tiny terrace is amazing, and even though it was too cold to sit outside, I imagine during spring/summer it's nice to sit there and relax with a cup of tea while admiring the view.

The owner was so nice! The food was excellent! We had the best time. We arrived completely drenched from rain and the owner offered to dry our things and was taking care of our shoes and everything the whole time and he speaks great English. The surroundings is so peaceful.

AMAZING! What really made our stay special were the owners. The couple is incredibly kind and helpful. They communicate fluently using a translation machine into English (or another language of your choice), which worked perfectly! The house was very clean, and their enthusiasm for Mount Fuji is contagious. The location is excellent: close to a huge supermarket with both Western and local products. Truly a fantastic supermarket! Also within walking distance are an Alfamart, bike rental, and the lake. On our last evening, we wanted to have a BBQ in the front yard, and the owners arranged it for us. They even joined us for a while, and we had a great time laughing and enjoying each other's company. The owner has a great sense of humor and we felt right at home. These people have hearts of gold and the location is fantastic! Highly recommended. Thank you for everything. We wanted to stay longer, but unfortunately, it was fully booked.

The hotel staff were very attentive and our stay was very comfortable and private. The room was spacious and the amenities were great. We enjoyed the private onsen where our young kids got to experience the onsen for the first time as well.
