The host was very kind and very friendly. She greeted us with whisky when we arrived, and told us the story of Gordon House. She also gave us a good recommendation for dinner (as she doesn't provide it herself on weekdays anymore). The room was clean, and everything was as described. The building is old, so don't expect fancy modern interiors, but everything is clean and the owners constantly work on improving it. And I must mention that the full Scottish breakfast was very good.

The owners are so kind and friendly. The house is gorgeous and the room very pretty with confortable bed. Very quiet at night, sleep was perfect. Nearby lots of restaurants and services. Breakfast was good and there was some gluten-free / vegan options. We liked the access ($) to on place washing and drying machines.

Great central location. Had a wonderful stay. Last minute booking, and the heater was on when we arrived! Comfy beds. Nice lounge to relax in and a well-appointed kitchen. Definitely stay here again next time.
