The staff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is spotless. The breakfast very good. the option to purchase and have dinner at the hotel restaurant was very convenient. The dinner was excellent. You can tell they care for presentation as well as taste. I would go again!

Super comfortable location, Monica was great in taking care of everyone. Breakfast is amazing with a wide choice of salty and sweet, fresh bread every day. The atmosphere is very familiar. Just 2 minutes from the train station - great if you stay here to hike around. But also, 7min walking distance to the city center. Lovely stay, very quite despite the closeness to the train station (you don't hear a thing). Comfy bed while the pillow is the classic huge and structureless that hotels love so much.

The owner(Robert) came to pick us up from the train station and he is very friendly. Hotel is near to the Appenzell train station(600m) We got an early check-in and late check-out. Delicious breakfast buffet. Spacious bathroom with a bath tub. Large balcony with a beatifull city view.

Esther is an excellent host who welcomes us warmly and introduces the apartment in details. Welcome drink and snacks are nice. Well-appointed and really spotless apartment with everything neatly set. Nice garden with a clean swimming pool. Greenly country view. Very quiet at night. We also visited the deer farm and my daughters liked it very much. Thank you Esther. Highly recommended.
