Ski Resorts in Marbach

Overall very peaceful, quiet, comfortable, family friendly stay this winter. The host went above and beyond to meet all our expectations. Very child friendly, cosy space with outdoor playground. Kids went gaga in their bedroom with so many toys and books. TV had complimentary cable channels and Netflix. Kitchen fully loaded which was awesome and coffee machine with excess coffee pods was perfect. Check-in instructions were accurate. Special thanks to Max for taking care of all our needs. Would highly recommend the place.

We had the most amazing time and the house was perfect for us, it was spotlessly clean and modern with everything we needed supplied. The beds were the most comfortable too. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel at home including Lucky. The most amazing part was the views which you can’t describe until your sat in the lovely garden enjoying a coffee. Thank you so much we plan to come back!

The location is just beside the first cable car station and it has the restaurant, the view is good, and room is quite cozy.

We just loved our time in this appartment and we definitely recommend it! - extremely clean, with everything mostly new, of good quality, and nothing missing, as well as nicely decorated. Isabel is very nice and had anticipated every possible need. The flat is very comfortable (with comfy double bed, great sofa & kitchen space, nice & clean bathroom / good internet connection ) and seemed to us bigger than the indicated 30 m2 and bigger than on the pictures! There is also the outside extension with sitting/eating area, that can also be used in case of rain as it is protected / covered above. Lines of trees separate from the other neighbours properties, so you have your own space outside. The neighbouring area is quiet and nice. The private covered garage (shared with neighbours) is in the same private building, to which you can have access just from the main road, this is so convenient and secure. Also, you are not immediately on the lake shore, and the neighbouring house doesn't allow a direct view on it, but the lake shore is so near, at a few steps/minutes walking distance (via a little road under the train line), with a beach bar where to have a drink or a snack. Also there is a little shop nearby (called VOLG) to do some food shopping, also open on Sundays. The train line is not far but not many trains/ and anyway we didn't hear much and it does not disturb at all. It was great to come back to the quiet flat & relaxing lake, after busy day hiking in mountains/ or after visits of Interlaken (at about 9 km) and Bern (47 km). Thank you Isabel for your kindness and professionalism! this was a great choice for quality/pricing in the area. / we had no time to test TV - and we didn't miss it! ___ I am adding pictures :)

Wow, there are no words to describe this property! This was our first time driving through Interlaken and Grindelwald, and after a month of searching for a place to stay for two days, we found this beautiful house with a stunning location. It’s worth every penny spent. The views are incredible: countryside, mountains, icy peaks, and even a waterfall behind the house. There’s a large farming land behind it, with a farm next door and 5 cows in the backyard. Once you’re in the house, I doubt you’ll want to leave. The space inside is more than enough, and the facilities are great, with all-new kitchen appliances. The host, Max, was very friendly and provided us with detailed instructions on how to get there, where to park, where to get the key, and where to park bicycles, all with helpful pictures. He responded quickly to all of our messages. This stay was the best we’ve had in Europe so far. We planned to extend our stay, but due to the weather and work commitments, we couldn’t. We’ll definitely be back next time, and I highly recommend this place to friends and family. It's totally worth the stay—you won't get bored! If you're traveling with kids, you won’t need Wi-Fi or TV because there are plenty of board games, toys, and even a table tennis area. 10/10, spectacular!

The location and surrounding views

This was the cosiest and loveliest little home. The view was absolutely incredible! We could see a beautiful waterfall from the bedroom window. The kitchen was great and we were able to cook some lovely meals. Everything worked well and the utensils and pans were perfect. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the house was very quiet and cosy at night. I can’t remember a time when I’ve slept as well as I did at this place. The house is only a few minutes drive down Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen so it was very easy to go for a drive to these beautiful places. The parking was great, right outside the door and the drive to the house was only a few minutes from the main road but on a very quiet little street. The kids also loved that the sheep sometimes came trotting by with their bells on. Overall this was such a lovely stay and we were sad to leave. We will be back again one day.

Loved how hospitable Luzia was. She graciously agreed to pick us up and drop us off at the train station in Lütschental since we didn't have a car and there are no buses or cabs available. The apartment is located in a beautiful valley, surrounded by mountains and the river. The apartment itself is well furnished. There are two bedrooms and also a sofa-bed in the hall. There are two bathrooms as well. It was very comfortable for our family of 4. The kitchen is well-equiped with utensils. The mattress, duvets and pillows are very comfortable. Luzia even did a cycle of washing and drying for us using her machine in her apartment above. I mainly loved the location and Luzia's hospitality. If you want to go to the Jungfrau region, the apartment is well-located but also provides a tourist free zone. You can take the train to-fro Interlaken or Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen as well. All within 15-18 minutes train rides. I would love to visit again!
