Stylish and well considered contemporary design in a well appointed hotel. The staff are young but knowledgeable (one of the owners is a sommelier and regaled us with fabulous local Swiss wines) The food is just superb- breakfasts had a good variety of cold meats, cheeses, cereals, Swiss yoghurts and bircher, breads and croissants etc or cooked to order. Dinner was superb- we tried the 3 course tasting menu which was sublime. If we could have afforded it we would have eaten there every night! Location was ideal just out of the main village of Grindelwald, so quieter, yet only a five minute stroll into the centre- plus the buses stop right outside. The best views of the glacier and the Eiger and Wetterhorn opposite!- absolutely stunning views!! We loved it very much!

It was very nice to have a kitchen and refrigerator. There was a supermarket nearby, so I was able to cook and eat whatever I wanted. It was like a detached house, so I could relax and see the greenery outside the window. It was close to the station and convenient to go anywhere. However, it is a steep climb, so be careful if you have a lot of luggage.

Offering panoramic views of the North Face of the Eiger and the Bernese Alps, this family-run 4-star superior hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Grindelwald.

Its proximity to major attractions is excellent, with the Grindelwald First cable car station just a short walk away, making it perfect for both winter sports and summer hiking. - Facilities: The hotel beautifully blends modern design with a traditional Alpine chalet style. One of the highlights is the 800m² 'Fire and Ice Spa,' which includes multiple saunas and an outdoor whirlpool. This spa area was definitely a favorite during my stay. - Rooms: The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with modern amenities. I particularly appreciated the Nespresso coffee maker, daily restocked minibar, and yoga mats. For those looking for a touch of luxury, some rooms come with private saunas and fireplaces. - Dining: Dining at the on-site restaurant, BG's Grill, was a delight. The breakfast and dinner offerings were excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality food to choose from. - Service: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Room was far beyond our expectations for this price. The position of the hotel is fantastic, offering what is probably the single best view in all of Grindelwald.

Very near to the terminal station. The hotel is new and trendy. Love the balcony, it was so big and can see the snow mountain when you wake up.

Only 1.5 km from the ski lifts, this youth hostel is located in Grindelwald. The sun terrace and the lovely breakfast room have beautiful views of the Bernese Alps. Packed lunches are available.

Great place with great view. The breakfast was very good. The rooms are clean as well as the bathroom and the toilet. It is a good idea to bring towels (or you can rent from there). The staff is great. We spent a great night at this place.
