Modern, new, comfortable apartment fully equipped with dishes & cutlery. The receptionist was very kind and supportive. The Base is very close to the train station and Glütsch cable car station.

Lockbox right outside the front door. The directions provided easily got you to where you needed to go, the box was labled and was not hard to operate at all. We used the lockbox when we left the apartment to ski so we didn't all have to return as a group and no risk in losing the key.

It surpassed all of our expectations! Fabulous hotel, amazing facilities, great food, superb attention to details and the service is fantastic.

Like many reviewers of Hotel Posta, the Breakfast is good which is important when skiing. On offer in winter is a buffet comprising 3 different cereals, plus porridge, fruit, a number of different breads, natural yoghurt, nutella and other spreads, honey, boiled eggs, cheeses, hams, prosciutto, salami, coffee, tea orange juice, apple juice, water. A good range, continuously replenished. In addition the hotel has an excellent restaurant which serves high quality evening meals including vegetarian options. Complimenting this are Cheese board, deserts and a very broad wine list including good local wine and also local beer (meaning real ale/ craft beer). Our room was sizeable with comfortable beds, a good size bathroom and powerful shower. It was also diligently cleaned every day. Last but not least were the staff. They made the real difference. They were genuinely helpful, kind and thoughtful. We really enjoyed our stay because we were looked after and made to feel very welcome. We were quite sad to leave. Further important information that may help you... The ski fields are dispersed, you can ski between most subject to snow and weather conditions. However the road between Andermatt and Dieni is closed in Winter. It's best to use the train. Train tickets for 5 days or longer are available from the Dieni ski lift station. Its about 1 mile from the hotel (easy walk/drive). The tickets enable travel between Andermatt and Disentis and all the stops in-between which allows you to travel between ski fields easily if the connecting lifts are not working or your feeling tired. The nearest train station to the hotel is called Reuras, its a 10 minute walk uphill from the hotel and is served regularly. If you have an epic pass then you can get an unlimited pass covering Andermatt, Sedrun, Disentis ski fields. You can get this at Dieni ski lift station. Switzerland uses a different 3 pin plug from most of Europe. You will need an adapter.

Lovely apartment, super clean! Nice quiet location. Conveniently next to The Furka Car Transport station and yet very quiet and peaceful. Our host was very responsive and quick to meet us to show us around the apartment. Superb value for money.

The apartment was immaculate and very comfortable. All facilities including kitchen and bathroom were very modern. Was very spacioua for 4 people. Ski room to store all of our gear that was fantastic. Hosts were amazing and responsive and provided great local knowledge for our stay when asked. Would definitely recommend.

Just amazing!!! A true luxury experience. Friendly stuff, amazing location, delicious food, swimming pool and spa with view on the mountains. A treat!

The property is in Andermatt Reus which is the new side of Andermatt. We loved the 2x 1 bed apartments we stayed in ( 3.3 and 3.4 in the Alpenrose building), they are the ones with the pink armchairs. We had everything we needed to cook in the apartment, enjoyed walking over into town to the Coop for fresh food. There is a bus every 15 minutes if you want to go over to Gemstock. Or you can walk the 5 minutes to go up the Gutsch Express for the main mountain which links up to Dieni > Sedrun > Disentis. We skied our way over to Disentis and caught the train back from there which was just a STUNNING train ride. The apartment is also perfectly located for winter walking routes along the river, and for cross country skiing at the Nordic Centre. Amazing skiing up the long valley and in loops around the Nordic centre. What else to tell you? It is a developing side of Andermatt but there are 3 or 4 restaurants including the Radisson Blu, a great ski shop, a cute coffee stall van outside. They are working hard to create a vibe. And once the next 5 start hotel is built there then I think the critical mass of people will be there to give the area full momentum.
