Lovely warm welcome from the owner and he told us that there was a pool as well. You can ask for the sauna but we didn’t want it. Great breakfast and tea available whenever I wanted it. Also biker friendly. Close enough for the attractions at Gosau but a better price

Loved my stay here! The staff was super friendly and welcoming — you can really tell they care about their guests. The room was cozy and comfortable, with cute local-style decorations that made it feel special. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Breakfast was amazing every morning, with lots of tasty options to choose from. Definitely one of the best stays I've had — would 100% come back!

We had a great stay at Schneckenhaus Dachstein West. I appreciated nice and comfortably furnished apartment, excellent communication with the host and beautiful nature in the surroundings (Hallstätter See, Gosausee). Highly recommended! The place is also perfect for cycling around Hallstätter See with kids (6 y.). We parked our car in Obertraun, which was a perfect choice. To get to Hallstatt by bike, it takes cca 4 km. Or one can go the other side along the lakeside.

New, clean, fully equipped apartment. Additionally, a minute away from the ski lift and perfect skiing. Very nice landlady, nothing was a problem, very good communication both in person and remotely. In the fully equipped kitchen, we were greeted with a nice surprise - for example, good coffee available, cocoa, teas, chocolate for the kids... really great and kind. So far, I have not experienced this elsewhere. The price is great considering the equipment and size of the apartment. THANK YOU, we will return.
