The Gulf Beach is 3 minutes' walk away. Loved the location to the beach and the quietness of the area. Sad to see the devastation from Hurricane Ian but the property itself was put back together very nicely.

Set in Sanibel, 500 metres from Gulfside Beach, The Driftwood Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The property is non-smoking and is located 2 km from Sanibel Chamber of Commerce. The property was located in a perfect situation, close to the beach and restaurants and shops. The unit was spotllessly clean with modern high quality furnishings and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The garden was an added bonus giving a quiet area to either sit in or flop into a hammock. BBQ and bikes provided 😀

The air-conditioned apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a coffee machine, and 2 bathrooms with a shower and a hair dryer. Towels and bed linen are offered in the apartment. Our Unit 14C was only a few steps from the beach. The property is still recovering from Ian but they are working on it daily. Landscaping was being worked on during our stay and it is beautiful.

Suggest when you go to the beach to wear oil on top of your sunscreen to stop the bugs from biting in the early evening. Apartment was well equipped with everything. Clean, comfy and spacious.It was good exercise climbing the stairs every day. Beautiful white sands.
