The staff at reception was friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was very large with a comfortable sitting area and a tv with Chromecast. The bed was also large and comfortable. The bathroom was very adequate, not too big but with enough room. The hotel is well situated along one of the main roads and a short drive away from downtown and many different restaurants. Despite its location the street noise was minimal.

Featuring fire pit, Shadow Mountain Lodge and Cabins is located in Ruidoso. The shops and restaurants of Mid-Town are just 10 minutes' walk away. Perfect weekend getaway. A nice quiet stay in a perfect location really goes a long way when traveling. This lodge pairs well with the good times to be had when visiting Ruidoso, New Mexico.

I share the room with the owner. The bathroom is not in suite, but is private, just for me. The room is not spacious but it is furnished with small microwave, refrigerator, chairs, nightstands. The bed is very comfortable. I'm impressed with the cleanliness, the decoration of the house. Laundry, shared kitchen is included: gorgeous! The owner prepares everything: snacks, fruit, toiletries. I felt like home! If I go back Albuquerque, this place is in my list.
