We recently stayed at Lava Homes on Pico, and it was an incredible experience. The eco-friendly architecture blends beautifully with the volcanic landscape, offering modern comfort and luxury. The staff's hospitality was exceptional, providing great local recommendations and ensuring a perfect stay. You are so well located for Madalena, the airport, the mountain & the ocean. Everyday you have views & at night Lajido is so quiet it really was bliss. Claudio is an amazing host, you can tell he really loves Pico. He is so knowledgeable about the island. We had a welcome pack & he gave us a bottle of his own wine which was such a treat. He is a testament to the generosity of the people of Pico & we are glad to have booked with him. The kitchen was really well equipped which we really valued - the houses are well thought out & exceeded our expectations.
