We were welcomed with fresh fruit, a bottle of red wine, a beer in the fridge and a chocolate heart on the bedside table. Not to forget the friendly host who greeted us with a big smile. Extremely clean, very quiet, and the accomodation offers everything you need, including a private courtyard. We couldn’t have wished for more. The location very close to the ferry terminal was another bonus as we took the ferry to Pico Island.

Incredible hospitality from the host. We were made so welcome. A small chalet with, under usual circumstances a sea view, it was cloudy and wet for much of our stay. The chalet studio was immaculate and had everything one needs for a short stay. Wonderful big bed. Parking next to the chalet. Breakfast was provided in a hamper, beautiful with home made products. We left early on our last morning and were kindly provided with a picnic to take with us. We enjoyed the location, a great position on the island, close to a pizza restaurant and small shop. An easy drive to Horta.

Genuinely. Beautiful house, the loveliest hosts I’ve ever met (and I stay in holiday rentals a lot), and the most beautiful views and grounds. Our daughter got to feed the goats and chickens and helped with the cows, and Lucia and Tony made pizza and cookies with us on our last night. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and generosity. We had honey from the bees and delicious eggs from the hens, and fresh bread every day. Truly felt better than a home away from home - because we don’t live anywhere near as stunning a place :) Highly and fully recommended. Our daughter and we will be talking about this stay for all our years. Thank you Lucia and Tony! We arrived as guests and left as friends 💕
