At the apartment complex, units have bed linen and towels. it is really big, clean, up to date products (like no old bed, towels, shower etc). there is a washer available which is really nice. The terrace has a really nice view overlooking Pico. we really enjoyed our stay. We only had contact with the host via message. you’ll get a key code to check in. This is the kind of check in we prefer. You don’t need to let the host know when exactly you’ll arrive. because you can come in to the house yourself. The host responds really quick if you have a question or need something.

Across the water, Pico Volcano was majestically standing (Pico Island). The kitchen was fully equipped and functioning, and the grocery store was within walking distance. The apartment was very comfortable, clean, full of light, and centrally located. We were able to park right in of the house. All was great!

Everything at the property was well cared for, the kitchen was huge and well stocked, the rooms were clean, beds comfortable and shower water pressure was good. Extra touches like daily fresh bread, eggs and farm produce made you feel at home on the farm. It was amazing to wake up to epic views of Mt Pico and have access to a small private beach.

This guesthouse was definitely one of the best places I’ve stayed in the Azores. If you are an adventurous type looking for a peaceful, remote experience in nature, I highly recommend. The hike in and out is absolutely stunning, full of ocean views, cliffs, forests, waterfalls, and rainbows. The guesthouse itself is very cozy and welcoming. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the dinner and breakfast we had were delicious. The lake is close by and the walk along the ocean is gorgeous. The staff is very kind and we enjoyed getting to know them!
