Boasting a bar, the hostel is close to several noted attractions, around 600 metres from Guimbitayan Beach and around less than 1 km from Bool Beach. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is located in the North of the island - perfect if you want to be walking distance from beautiful beaches as well as to locals. It is however “far” from the town, which is not an issue because there are drivers to take you there all the time! Bungalows are cozy, the showers open air and overall the atmosphere was great, there was everything we would need! Richard the owner has a heart made of gold. The snorkeling trip organized by the hostel was fantastic too!

One of the best places I have stayed at during my 4 months in the Philippines. Everything looks almost new, and everything is spotlessly clean. Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice outdoor sitting area right outside the room. Spacious room with plenty of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and towels supplied. The room had a proper desk and also excellent lighting. Good location half way between the port and town, within walking distance to both. Also walking distance to the 'stumble inn' beach bar/restaurant which overlooks the sandbar. There's also a clean and well equipped kitchen with a big fridge and dining table. Free hot and cold water dispenser. Small convenience store on site. You can also do your laundry for free out on the back. Very good WiFi. Excellent place to stay if you want to balance out your budget with a bit of DYO.....I also loved the tiny baby kitten.

The room was very spacious, quiet and clean. Hosts were very friendly and helped organise multiple tours for us. It is a decent 10min walk to the main area as we didn’t hire a bike but very doable.

It’s hard to call this place a hotel – it feels more like a second home, surrounded by a beautiful garden, with dogs, a cat, and geckos. Perfect for those seeking authenticity and relaxation. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Located in Bantayan Island in the Visayas region, Isla Vida Apartments has a garden. The property features inner courtyard and quiet street views, and is 500 metres from Sugar Beach. Free private parking is available and the apartment also provides bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. The hosts are wonderful. They let us check in early, and they made sure that everything is cleaned properly, very friendly and soo accommodating. We will stay in here again.

The room was very clean,complete with all the necessities that one would require in a "home", and the services impeccable - it was PAR EXCELLANCE!. Very much appreciated is the added "honesty" mini grocery which we find very convenient and helpful to us especially that the tower is located in the inner part. ALSO Very much appreciated is the eagerness of the owner (Jerry) to assist us in finding a ride going to our next accommodation. The constant reminders thru whatsapp was also very helpful.
