Attention to detail, even providing charger cables for iOS and android phones. Easy drive or pleasant walk down to the river market (would be a fittening walk back up the hill!). The hosts were friendly and generous with their help and advice. Loved this place. Excellent value.

This bed and breakfast features free private parking, a housekeeping service and free WiFi. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Hopwood is amazing! A wonderful experience to enjoy quiet NZ countryside. The location is perfectly nestled in the hills and provides an excellent launching point to see many features (national parks, river cafes, waterfalls) and so much more. It's also exceptionally peaceful for great relaxation and taking a pause. The spot and the hosts are absolutely the best!

The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed for our night's stay including some biscuits with our coffee and some breakfast items. Julie our host was very welcoming and helpful.
