Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. There is free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi.

The heated guest rooms come with double glazed windows and a flat-screen TV. Each has a patio with mountain views. All rooms also have a microwave, a fridge and kitchenware. Great place to stay at Mount Cook with only a 5 minute drive to the trail head car parks. A bit pricey but worth it as it's for the location which is stunning. The Tasman lake walks , 10 minutes drive away are also fabulous.

Alps Motel & Apartments provides air-conditioned rooms in Twizel. All rooms feature a kitchenette, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and a private bathroom. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I honestly was a bit put off by the word “motel” in the name, as that reminds me of some negative experiences from the past. But I was needlessly worried. Our stay at Alps was excellent. The room was big, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, and the location is a short walk from a supermarket, several good restaurants and bars, and a great little coffee shop and cafe. And it’s only a 40 minute drive to Aoraki / Mt Cook National park. We opted to stay here rather than in Mt. Cook village, and we’re so glad we did. We much preferred the small town atmosphere of Twizel and the price point and quality of Alps Motel over what we saw in Mt. Cook village.

A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also offered, as well as a kettle. At the apartment complex, units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Clean and very well equipped. Had all amenities we could have ever asked for, including a hob, laundry machine and heating in the toilet. Conveniently located within 3mins drive to the town centre. Staff were very helpful, who helped us find an ipad that we left behind so we could come back to get it the next day.

Everything is very very neat and clean. Comfortable bed & sofa. Enormous television. Quiet and relax atmosphere. Beautiful snow-capped mountain views. Full equipped-facilities. Helpful host. Not far from Twizel town center, lake Pukaki and Aoraki national park.

During our stay, the wind howled pretty-much the whole time. Accommodation was superb. Loved the architecture, and all details.
