The Chalets Motel offers charming self-contained cottages with scenic mountain views. Featuring a DVD library, it is just 600 metres from hot pools and Hanmer Springs’ village centre.

Heated chalets feature wood panelling and come with full kitchen. They offer parking space, a DVD player and comfortable lounge areas. Clean,quiet, beautiful views,2 bedroom unit was great for 2 single travellers. Everything we needed to cook was in the kitchen, we got a towel for the thermal pools for 2dollars. Old mate was very helpful and overall a great spot to stay.

Guests have a choice of open-plan studios or larger apartments which have a separate living room. All of the units have kitchenettes, a large LCD TV and DVDs can be placed in the rooms on request. All rooms are serviced daily. Place was spotless. Even quality wine glasses. Good size and quiet. Peter was great and very responsive. The best stay we have had in our 3 month vacation. Strongly recommend it and would absolutely stay here again. Top notch.

Stayed 1 night, very clean, very comfortable, and very spacious. One of the better motels we've stayed at for 1 night in hanmer, we've stayed in a few. Loveliest hosts and provided towels for the hot pools. Bonus tavern come restaurant right next door and located on main street in hanmer so all amenities close by. Would definitely book again.
