One of the best hostels I stayed at in Sri Lanka. Lovely clean dorm, comfortable beds and the aircon is on at anytime you need - plus fans! The host is the highlight of this hostel- you feel like you’re at home with the amazing welcome you are given. She cooked us dinner each night (amazing grilled prawns!!) and provided us with cold water, fruit, tea, coffee and anything else we needed for no extra charge. She made us feel like family - we were sad to leave!! Very quiet and great location too. Highly recommend!! Good wifi and service.

After 9 days of touring, Heavenly Hideaway was exactly what we needed. We were warmly welcomed and shown around the property, which is beautifully decorated and exceptionally well equipped. From beach towels and toiletries to a washing machine with powder—everything was thoughtfully provided, which was perfect for refreshing clothes after travelling. The apartment’s terrace was absolutely gorgeous, with a stunning ocean view. We especially loved the rooftop hot tub, where we enjoyed sunsets in total relaxation. The pool was a lovely temperature, with plenty of shaded spots, and the hosts were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We didn’t leave the area during our 3-night stay—there are fantastic beach bars and a stunning Italian restaurant just steps away. It’s also an ideal base for snorkelling trips to Pigeon Island or Angel Rock. The sea is crystal clear, and the sand is soft and white—a true tropical paradise. The whole experience was the perfect end to our amazing holiday. I could have stayed far longer and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious beach escape.

Nice place and the owner is very supportive and a very decent character. Fully equipped kitchen and a large refrigerator are major plus points, for a group of people. There are a few minor improvements that could attract the guests. Kind of nice to have things like, a small tables in rooms, furniture arrangement (in the rooms). Overall, it's 10/10. 😀

Very nice host – I felt very welcome during my stay. The breakfast was amazing, and the tour to Pigeon Island that Nimal arranged was fantastic. He also took me to watch the sunset by the lagoon and even let me drive his tuk-tuk, which was such a fun experience! When I couldn’t find accommodation for the next night, he cleared out a private room and kindly let me stay there. Truly generous and thoughtful – I really appreciated everything!

The location (right on Nilaveli beach), the amenities available at the flat, the comfortable seating and sleeping arrangements - way too many things to capture! The host initiated and maintained an open channel of communication from booking through our stay, sending very helpful information on location, getting there, check-in process, local shops and restaurants, etc. The manager and the staff are all very competent and went the extra mile to ensure our comfort.

Staying at Rory's penthouse apartment was kind of dream coming true. The views from the balcony and rooftop jacuzzi were unreal. The interior was elegant, with very high attention to detail. Everything was exactly as in the pictures. The kitchen was shopisticated with all possible utensils, porcelains, and cutlery. We loved every bit of four day stay here.

We stayed here with our two young daughters. The apartment felt like a home away from home. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was fully stocked. The apartment was bright and clean with the added bonus of blackout curtains so that the sunrise didn't wake us up. It was comfortable and close to the beach. The gardens were beautiful and the pool was refreshing. We stayed an extra night because it was so incredible. The host, Rory, has excellent communication skills and he was very kind. There was free wifi and it worked very well.
