We didn’t have a car, but everything was so close, so we didn’t need it anyways. We had amazing view of spectacular fireworks at the roof top!! I can keep going for many more positive experiences. We will be back!

The staff could not have been more helpful, giving us a ride to/from the onsen as well as the train station in the morning and gave us recommendations on the best places to go in Mochimune. Communication was great, even when we spoke very little Japanese they were extremely helpful. Would recommend this for anyone who wants to escape the busy cities for some peace by the sea.

On another day, we explored the coastal trail all the way to the heart-shaped cave and it was beautiful. The futon bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of space for the four of us. This stay was the highlight of our trip to Japan for me!
