Despite that we do not understand Japanese, the owner has a translation note in English on most of the equipment.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Kumamoto Castle is 1.8 km away. Spotlessly clean and has all amenities for even a long stay. Right next to city centre. Car park recommended by host was just a few steps away and cheap too. Host very helpful. Place is newly renovated and spacious. Futon was comfortable. Easy access - at ground floor. Not much noise even though just next to the street. Highly recommend.

This was one of the most magical places we have ever stayed. This Inn was extremely clean, stylish, modern, quiet,and in a good location in the small town, with great service staff and access to 7 onsens in a beautiful garden setting with a historical feel. Kurokawa is off the beaten path for westerners but so worth it, and Noshiyu Inn seemed like one of THE top choices in town. It exceeded our expectations and we were pretty amazed by it.

Location is good, just about 8-10min walking from the Kumamoto station. Garden is beautiful day and night. Perfect place to fully experience the traditional Japanese house.
