We also spent the first evening exploring Ferrara and enjoyed the castle, local dinner, and the markets! Finally nice pillows and towels! Housekeeping daily, good breakfast, higher end products. The staff was so kind and even gave us a complimentary upgrade. I would definitely stay here again! Traveling with large bags was so easy as this hotel is located a stones throw from the train station!

The property also offers accommodation for disabled guests. Viola and her family were super hosts. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We booked fresh pastries and coffee each day for breakfast. Great value. We had lunch one day cooked by Viola and her mum and the food was amazing. We also took the opportunity to take a cooking class which was so relaxing and fun. We were attending a wedding at Castello di Celsa and Villa Mucellena's location was very convenient for this.

Hardest thing in our Tuscany trip was to leave this place.. It’s a beautiful place, in a perfect location. Clean, spacious, calm. Martina and her whole family were so helpful, kind and caring. Always smiling. It felt like we visited our distant relatives in Italy, more than booking a place to stay.
