We arrived to fresh brown bread, jams and all the makings for crisp sandwiches! Sarah also had some fresh fruits, milk and other bits. Everything was absolutely flawless, the kitchen and baths were well stocked, just such an adorable place. We loved all the special touches, and Sarah was so responsive through our trip. We will absolutely be visiting again!

The apartment has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. We stayed there twice, one night at each end of our two-week holiday in Donegal. We found it a great place to spend our first night after a long flight to Dublin airport (which isn't too far away) and also for finishing off our trip in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. On previous trips to Ireland we'd stayed at other places in County Meath on our first and last nights and they had all been really good but Rathgillen Cabin has become our favourite. Peter, the host, is a very friendly and welcoming fella so we's love it if he'd come to stay with us at our home in Bulgaria some time. And the village has a handy shop, a great pub and a wonderful cafe where we had our final breakfast befor heading home. We were also delighted to discover that Nobber was the birthplace of the 17th Century blind harpist. Turlough O' Carolan whose music we've loved for a long time.

We were amazed how nice,causing exclamations like “wow” from one member of our party. It had a home like feeling, and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It was super easy to get to from the directions and once there, Adrienne was the most fabulous host, went above and beyond to meet every need! Could honestly not have asked for a better stay away. Particularly loved the Tayto and dairy milk on arrival! Just every detail was so very well thought through and everything worked perfectly. Thankyou so very much Adrienne for everything!
