Offering a terrace and views of the sea, The Olive Yard is set in Gytheio in the Peloponnese Region, 50 km from Kalamata. Monemvasía is 44 km from the property. Room looked straight out of a design magazine, and was very pleasant. Breakfast was served in the room, and supplied as a basket breakfast in a day we had to leave early.

We recently stayed at Pasithea,located just outside the castle town of Monemvasia, and it was the perfect blend of tranquility, comfort, and convenience. The location offers the best of both worlds — stunning views of the rock of Monemvasia and easy access to the old town, while enjoying the peace and space of the mainland. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, a lovely pool area overlooking the sea. Our room was elegant and spotless, with a large balcony that offered panoramic views. What truly made our stay special was the hospitality. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the region. They shared great tips for local tavernas, hidden beaches, and even helped us arrange a wine tasting. The apartment is really beautifully decorated, super modern, clean, with literally everything you need and more. There even was a little bathroom step for kids. The host is amazing, she goes over and beyond to make sure you have a good stay. The house is full of little attentions and gifts, honestly 100times better than a 4* hotel. It is such good value for money I really recommend.

Our room was very nicely decorated and we enjoyed a large terrace. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is lovely, close to the Mystras archeological site (we walked there). We loved the breakfast. The restaurant is excellent.
