Located in Alzo and with La Concha Promenade reachable within 31 km, Altzoko Ostatua provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The property is set 31 km from Peine del Viento Sculptures, 31 km from Santa Clara Island and 32 km from Monte Igueldo. Every room is fitted with a balcony. What a gem of a place! The hotel looked very traditional and ordinary from the outside, but the bedroom was very modern, a good size with really comfortable beds and a lovely big en-suite shower room. There is a lift to the upper floors. We were welcomed warmly in Spanish as we don't speak Basque, and the lady (manager? owner?) only had a few words of English. We decided to eat at their restaurant, and were greeted by name by the chef/owner, and the waiter was excellent, very friendly and pacient, even though the restaurant was quite busy. A first for us: we could choose our own time for breakfast which was served in the bar. What a lovely experience in a lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings.

Nice studio, ground floor in a quit street, with all facilities you might need during your stay. Washing machine, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, clothes drying rack. Close to the lively city center with tons of taberna’s and restaurants. 5 mins walk to the 2,5 km long beach with boulevard and nice terraces with ocean view. Big supermarket at 200m. Owner provided us with a parking pass for free street parking.

When we arrived, I thought we were too far out of the main areas of San Sebastian. However, with our host Javi's assistance, the bus stop is nearby and a quick ride to the edge of old town. The busses have tap on option making it simple to hop on a bus. That means it's a good location, cafe for morning coffee nearby along with a selection of supermarkets (Javi provided directions) to make use of the apartment's cooking facilities. Our host Javi was always available if we need any assistance. Thumbs up!

The appartment is very nice and clean. It contains everything a four member family needs. It is close both to the city centre and beaches. We really appreciated proactive approach of the property owner - alignment of arrival time, tips where to eat, etc…
