Staff are some of the friendliest we have met in Colombia, Diana and Daniela are amazing, taking time out of their day to assist you with anything. Diana also speaks impeccable English, although is patient and happy for you to practise your Spanish with her aswell! We extended our stay multiple times and they always found room for us, even when they were technically full (amazing space on top floor they save for friends and family). The hostel is a stunning bamboo and timber construction, dorms are 4 people max and spacious, airy and comfortable. The staff clean round the clock so its always spotless. 4 breakfast options every day (included in stay) all of which are delicious (best hostel pancakes we've had!). Location is great, 10 minute walk from the beach so far enough from the party spots thats its quiet at night. They also have a resident family of dogs that are super friendly and playful and will accompany you to the beach and river for swims. Honestly cant say enough good things, this is one of the best (if not the best) run hostel we've ever stayed at, and one of the cheapest, operated by people who generally seem to enjoy what they do. I would reccomend this hostel to anyone passing through Palomino!!

Ignore older reviews, these were mostly start up problems I guess. We had a blast
