Whilst Switzerland in general is extremely picturesque, you cannot beat the views which are on your door stop. You are set on Lake Zug with views of the surrounding mountains. Whilst slightly off the beaten track it is easy accessible with the train station a short 5 minute walk away with good connections. Not that you’d know because you don’t hear the trains! You can swim in the pool or take a swim in the lake or even better… paddle boarding! The outdoor area is well decorated with the sun setting down throughout the day. The property itself is designed for couples but is well designed, clean and modern. The host is happy to be contacted throughout the stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again despite being on the pricier side which I think is currently a fair value.

It was such a lovely and cosy accomodation. It was big and spacious, well equipped kitchen and very comfortable. There were many different farm animals in front of our accom which my little boy loved to watch and play with. The host, Edith, was very friendly and hospitable too. There was even a lovely surprise of a jar of homemade jam for us :)

Situated just 25 km from KKL Culture and Convention Centre Lucerne, Ariv Design Hotel Zug features accommodation in Zug with access to a fitness centre, a garden, as well as a lift. The property features mountain and garden views, and is 24 km from Lion Monument. The aparthotel has family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. We had three apartment style rooms for our trip. The elevators and parking were wonderful. The common space, laundry facility and cinema room were awesome. The coffee in the common area was great as well as location to cafe. This was a good central location for us to do our tour. We had an issue getting in, but was remedied fast with a phone call. The young lady that worked there during the day was very helpful. The vending machines in common area were also nice for late at night. We had an issue with the laundry an it was fixed promptly. Highly recommend staying, but note there is a lot of construction going on around this location.
