May and her family were the perfect hosts. Cao’s and his wife’s cooking was amazing, very tasty, clean and fresh food, plus it was such a lovely experience eating together with the family. The bungalow was so cozy and very clean and in a perfect location away from the madness of Sapa. Trekking with May was a lot of fun, walking to the waterfalls and the bamboo forest, the views along the way were breathtaking. The herbal baths were much welcomed and a slice of luxury on a rainy day. Overall we loved the three nights we spent here and would love to come back..

Firstly, Huie picked me up at the bus terminal. I stayed for 14 days with the wonderful family 🙂 I spent nearly every evening in the living room, drinking tea and chatting about anything. I would also like to highlight that the entire house is beautifully decorated. Huie is a great artist and a good photographer. These elements reflect a cozy and warm atmosphere in the house itself  I got food poisoning on one of my last days In Sapa; Huie and his family went above and beyond to help me deal with the food poisoning. I was taking carry off like part of the family; I guess I was after 14 days. If you are looking for an authentic home experience with a family that treats you like one of their own, look no further.
