The room, especially the fireplace, really relaxing retiring back to the room after a long day out in the mountains. Location was good too as it is near to village with good food and drinks

This place is hidden gem! Just wished we could have stayed longer.

This historic lodge is located on the shore of Twin Lakes and surrounded by mountains and skiing. The lodge was built in 1924 and provides seasonal bike and boat rentals.

We drove in and the place was beautiful! I liked how close to nature we were - in fact the staff told us there were bear sightings on the day we arrived. We unfortunately (or fortunately) didn't get to be face to face with a bear, but even if we did, the staff gave us tips to keep safe. We came on a moonless, clear night and saw the milky way! Absolutely amazing. I wish we also stayed a few days longer so we could kayak in the lake right in front of the house.

This resort is located in Mammoth Lakes and is within 5 minutes' drive of the Inyo National Forest. It offers a golf course, a heated outdoor pool and a hot tub.

The location is pefect, a quick drive to the lakes or a mini bus ride. The room is comfortable but it is visible that this is a winter resort as well, being banged up from skis and ski shoes.
