It was spacious and everything we need is catered for, eg kitchen ware, coffee maker, filtered water. The entire villa is well maintained and clean. When we needed help, the landlord came over very quickly and assisted us. Overall a very pleasant stay for a group of 5 in the lovely villa!

Nice design, cozy public area and the lounge. The staff are very friendly, and we become friends. The location is also very convenient! There is a night market just next to the hostel which has many delicious local food!!!

This is the single best b&b/hostel I have every state at. The rings are all clean, well equipped, and the showers are spotless. The location of the main building is very central, and the apartment (available to groups) is just 20mn away and right next to the Taiwan Route 1 cycle path. But the real joy of this accomodation is the host Maple. She is incredibly welcoming, and I mean above and beyond. When it says 'breakfast included', I didn't expect much but on check in Maple took me out to buy dinner at a local restaurant, and in the morning drove me through the morning market and bought me a wondeful breakfast there. She's an incredibly friendly, energetic host and seems to be friends with just about everyone in Changhua! I seriously recommend this property to anyone, particularly the apartment for groups cycling the round Taiwan route.

A lovely, homely place in Changhua. It's in a great part of town, and the owners are just great: friendly, welcoming and chatty. In a world of cookie-cutter hotels that all feel the same—wherever you are in the world—it's so nice to stay in a guesthouse that feels so distinctive, and so properly human. If you are looking for somewhere glossy and shiny, this isn't the place for you. But if you like dogs, tortoises, music, books, old furniture, quirkiness, and staying somewhere that feels like home, then it's just perfect.
