What a wonderful place! I wish we'd had longer there than just the night. The accommodation is extremely well-appointed. Comfy sofa/sofa bed in the lounge area. The sofa bed was the easiest to undo/put back that I have ever come across. the beds were comfy, the bathrooms were good with good showers, and it's lovely to have two private bathrooms. The place is bright and fresh, with just about everything you would need. Spotlessly clean everywhere, including outside. The outdoor area is lovely and with great views over the castle and countryside. Only a few minutes walk into the walled town. Óbidos itself, although incredibly touristy, is also really pretty. We visited for the Chocolate Festival, so it was really busy, but there was still enough free public parking around the property. And it's a great base for exploring the area, there is loads to visit around there within 15 to 60 minutes drive. To sum up, all three of us were delighted with this little house.

This was the nicest place I stayed during my entire vacation. The property was amazing and the hosts were very gracious. I would absolutely stay again. The property had a queen size bed upstairs and a single child's bed downstairs. There were two full bathrooms up and down. There was a full kitchen, including dishes, pots and pans, silverware and a dishwasher. There was also a clothes washer. The property was stocked with dishwasher and laundry detergent. I could live in this place for months and be very happy. The location was a short walk from the old walled city and dozens of restaurants. Superb.

I was met by Tiago, the host, who helped me get settled with all the necessary information about the place and lots of tips on what to see, where to eat etc. The place is the perfect size for solo travellers or a couple. As it's walking distance (with free parking) from the walled city of Óbidos, it makes it a perfect spot to roam the city for a day or two. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the living room cozy for a night in.

The place itself was beautiful, had everything you needed and the owners had stocked us up on necessities.
