As we were the only guests when we arrived we were given a free upgrade to our room. Judy was so friendly and helpful with suggestions for hikes and where to eat. After getting muddy clothes, we were given free use of the washing machine. Judy was also very keen to give us fresh home-grown produce which we cooked and enjoyed.

Great place , beautiful views of the harbour . Very clean and comfortable apartment. Perfect to rest if you are on a big trip across the country . Wonderful chowder in a fishing club in Whangaroa where they have bar and restaurant.

There was no fuss in checking in. The room was tidy, cosy, and modern. We had our own kitchen so if you're into making food, everything is there. It was so peaceful amd the view is amazing. The host was lovely and checked in with us at times to see if everything was ok and if we needed anything.. It's lovely and I would recommend staying there again. We didn't get a chance to try the spa because the weather was too hot for one. But overall it was a beautiful stay.

The cabin is located in an amazing garden, about 5 minutes away from the beach. The beds are big and comfortable, and the house has everything you need for a great stay. Katy was super welcoming and friendly. We‘d be happy to come back anytime!

Everything. Often places don’t quite live up to the photos. This was certainly not the case. Te Koha exceeded expectations. It is a beautiful home with so many luxuries…the soft bathroom towels are heavenly. If you have the chance to book, you won’t regret it!
