Clean and very well equipped. Had all amenities we could have ever asked for, including a hob, laundry machine and heating in the toilet. Conveniently located within 3mins drive to the town centre. Staff were very helpful, who helped us find an ipad that we left behind so we could come back to get it the next day.

This was a great place in Lake Tekapo. The community was quiet, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom nice and had a wonderful hot shower with high pressure, and the beds were SO comfy and had a much-needed heated pad. We had a car so it was a 4-minute drive to Four Square grocery (where you can walk to the Tekapo waterfront), but we also walked, and it took about 20-25 minutes, so depending on what you'd prefer, it's still reasonably close for those without a car. One thing to note, but not necessarily a bad thing, they do have a washer, but only a drying rack. This didn't bother me, but just wanted to let others know. Overall the stay was very cozy and I would absolutely come back here.

This was a great place in Lake Tekapo. It's an older house, the kitchen had the basics and the bedrooms can get a bit cold, but the sunsets and stargazing from the balcony are hard to beat. The sun warms the common area upstairs during the day through those big glass windows while the fireplace gives more than adequate heat at night. Really hoping that the owners could spruce it up just a little bit more, we're already thinking when we could go revisit Tekapo

In summer, we would have used more of the house due to the challenge of keeping it warm in winter, but even just having the kitchen and upstairs area to lounge around in, on big soft couches and a large TV with glorious views out to the mountains was magic. The location is perfect because it's so close to the lake and town. Lovely lot of pillows, blankets, kitchen supplies like oil, salt/pepper, and spices to use.

Sparking clean, brand new large house perfect for a family or group. Wonderful location with a beautiful view of the lake. All the details thought through - games and toys for the kids, coffee for the adults, super well kitted out kitchen, laundry and bathrooms.
