A very warm welcome by the hosts, felt like I was a distant cousin coming to visit them. They were enthusiastic to explain everything about their place in Haren. On the property there was a small but lively garden which had a pond with tiny red fish swimming in it. Room itself was bigger than I expected and had a kitchen in it. Complimentary tea and coffee were included. For this price you cannot get a better deal near Groningen.

We loved everything! it is not the first place we stay at Hotel Miss Blanche, and every time we are excited to be back. the location is the best you may wish for, the rooms are nicely decorated and very practical, always clean and the heating is working very well. Also the people working in the hotel and at the reception are truly nice and accommodating. Any time we are going back to Groningen, we would always stay at Miss Blanche without hesitation

This was the true highlight of the trip. Eliza, the houseboat owner, was extremely hospitable and accommodating. She made every effort to assure that the houseboat was in perfect order for us. She even had a bottle of champagne for us. The accommodations were amazing and extravagant. We wish we had more time to enjoy it.

From the initial booking to check out everything could not have been easier. Hosts were quick to respond to my many questions and were there to greet on arrival. Lovely welcoming people. The apartment is very well located for both the train station and the centre of town. Facilities were excellent, it was really clean and warm and offered everything you could need for an enjoyable stay, even an umbrella for the wet weather we had! It is stylishly decorated and has a welcoming calm air about it. We had a lovely time there. Supermarkets and cafes all close by and within easy reach. Can definitely recommend and would stay again when visiting Groningen
