The owner is a really nice guy who speaks perfect English. The house was really comfortable and spacious, perfect for groups and families. The golf room was an awesome bonus and a lot of fun. Highly recommend staying here if you’re nearby, really worth the price! Will stay again!

The location was not too bad although we had to use taxi to get to the station. The supermarket was situated in a walking distance. The house was very warm and comfortable.

Okiya is a warm and welcoming ryokan ran by a lovely couple that treated me like their own. Feel free to ask any requests from them, including ebike rentals and tours. Do be sure to let them know in advance so they can plan and prepare. Kiryu is a wonderful place full of history, and this former geisha house fits right in. Aside from touring the city, an evening spent getting to know both the hosts and the house can be an attraction too!
