I recently stayed at Sanada Maru in Osaka, Japan, and it was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had. The accommodation is a beautiful traditional Japanese house complete with a charming mini garden that gives the whole place an authentic and peaceful atmosphere. The house is very spacious and can comfortably accommodate more than 10 people, making it perfect for big families or group trips. Parking is provided, which was very convenient, and the host even offers bicycles for guests to use. We enjoyed riding around the neighborhood and even cycled to the nearby 7-Eleven. The location is excellent—only about 15 minutes from KIX Airport, which makes arrival and departure incredibly easy. What impressed me the most was the host’s honesty and kindness. I accidentally left my G-Shock watch in the room, and the host contacted me immediately and promised to ship it back to me. This truly reflects the honesty and integrity of Japanese people, and I am very thankful. Overall, I highly recommend Sanada Maru for anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay in Osaka. I would definitely come back again!

I loved this place. The vibe and decor made me feel like I stepped into the Japan of ages past, but the facilities were perfectly modern and comfortable. Staying here was a lovely memory and a highlight of my trip. Kaizuka has the same historic feel of Kyoto's Gion but without the hordes of tourists and tourist traps. The bathroom is shared for the two first floor rooms, but if booking both rooms (as we did for four people), then it essentially becomes private for your group. The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The kitchen and washer dryer are great extras as well. To be honest, we stayed in Kaizuka, and therefore here, for good access to Kansai airport and I feel very lucky that we did so because the whole experience was a highlight.

the owner was extremely kind and nice; he was very warm and kind to us. he didn’t speak English but he made sure in multiple ways that we could communicate (using google translate and other translating devices). he brought us fruit, offered to pick us up and to bring us to the nearest station and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. the position is really good if you need to overnight in the airport or if you land late and want a room close to the airport without spending a fortune. if it’s your first time in Japan, it’s also nice to experience the traditional ryokatan and sleep on the tatami mat; it’s surprisingly comfortable and I had a really good night of deep sleep. super reccommended! we had a really good time.

We could not have breakfast because it was not disponible. It was a pitty, we would like to try it. We liked very much the location. It was very interesting to wander on those alleys in the morning and sharing a litle of the life of locals, on their morning movements
