wow.. wow... wow! we had not expectations from the place (it was on our way back from the iceberg) and at the end it was by far the best place we stayed in Iceland. quite expensive but worth every penny. the rooms are big (can fit 4 people) with living room with everything!!! we cooked breakfast and watched the amazing view and wanted to stay there for ever...! the place is in the middle of nowhere so do not forget to stop in the nearest town (40 min away) and buy your groceries. the kitchen is well equipped and the owners are so so nice and friendly. do not miss this place!!

This place is very remote but it is well worth it!! They were so attentive they even have a sign with your name welcoming you when you arrive at the premises. This was the place where we got to see Northern Lights for the first time. And with a jacuzzi no less! It cant get any better than that. Two of my friends got engaged here as well. I will always have this place in my heart and will try to return for a longer time.

Such an interesting location if you want to experience a good quiet Icelandic night. Beautiful surroundings, only 47 km from Vik. The cottage had everything you need for long as well as short stays. Strongly recommended

The cottage has everything necessary for comfortable stay. Fully equipped kitchen, sitting place, WC. The shower is shared. There is a stunning view of waterfall just 20 m behind the cottage. Many thanks to Aurora for useful advises concerning our future trip ;-) and also we would thank the women on river cross (unfortunately don't know her name), but she was both so strict and so welcoming, that we remembered her all our journey.
