We were staying in Danae (the pink villa !) and had a wonderful peaceful holiday. The villa was comfortable, clean, and had more than enough space for the six of us. Its located just off the main road opposite a lovely, very traditional, taverna - but you wouldn't have known the road was there for the most part. And Lefkada is such a beautiful island - Danae overlooks the idyllic harbour town of Syvota which is a five minute car ride away and its only 15 minutes south to Vasiliki or a similar time north up to Nidri so really well positioned for getting out and about. The three bedrooms (one double, two twins) all had their own en-suite bathroom; comfortable beds; doors leading outside; and excellent AC. And plenty of space for clothes too. The property was cleaned twice during our 11 night stay which was much appreciated. The upstairs area was light and airy with three different balconies all with spectacular views - comfortable lounge and dining areas and a good kitchen with large fridge freezer; plus a dish washer too. Outside, the pool area was fine - six beds and a couple of sun shades - and the pool was cleaned every day so was spotless. The double bedroom leads out to the pool area and had a well positioned table and chairs on a little patio area. Perfect for a cool ouzo as the sun started to "cool" in the late afternoon... The gardens were well kept and watered every morning - the lavender behind the pool smelt wonderful and the limes on the lime tree were huge ! Throughout we had regular dialogue with the owners - and any questions we had were answered quickly and positively; the service we had was brilliant. Thank you Panorea and Costas. Overall, just what we needed for our holiday - there's still lots we want to do in Lefkada and would definitely have a stay at the Danae as part of any return visit to the island.

Great location, via a small path you are in the middle of Nydri within 2 walking minutes. The apartment has a good double bed, small kitchen with utensils, and good bathroom. The swimming Pool is great to relax and cool down. Breakfast is very nice; ham, cheese, Juice, cereals, bread, yoghurt, greek pastry, and they even offer to make you a nice omelette or fried eggs. The owner used to have a restaurant, but sold it and built this aparthotel. He's very kind snd hospitable.

The photos did not do justice to the room. We had a clean washing up sponge, water in the fridge, oil & vinegar, tooth picks, coffee & tea, a filter coffee mschine, frappe mixer, kettle, sandwich toaster, mini oven... iron, drying rack. You name it, they had it!

Everyone are very hospitable, rooms are cleaned every second day, you get a lot of towels, you have parking which is a big problem if you dont, you have air condition device, the apartments are in center of nydri so you are close to everything... 10/10 I will be back to the same apartment

The location was excellent, right at the foot of the mountains with a beautiful view of the Meganisi mountains, which reveal stunning veins in the sun. It was wonderfully quiet, and the lovely pool with comfortable stone steps was kept spotlessly clean. The room was spacious, and the bed was wonderful! The balcony at the back was set back in steps, completely discreet from the two apartments next door. The owner, Thomas, is definitely the nicest Greek to walk around on two legs! The lady who changed the sheets and towels daily and kept the apartment clean was also very helpful. You can reach the main street of Nidri by scooter in two minutes, and also reach wonderful tavernas in the mountains within minutes. We have already decided to book the room again next year, D.V., for four weeks. We'd booked for 18 days... Calderimi is an absolute must for anyone who enjoys peace and quiet, but also enjoys a great rock bar within three minutes, or a super-relaxing terrace at a traditional Greek grill in the mountains with breathtaking views of Nidri, Scorpios, the sea, and the mountains!
