We travel around a lot and always choose an apartment as it offers more freedom. We’ve stayed it lots but nothing comes close to this! Absolutely beautiful apartment recently renovated. The owners Karl and Helen are amazing. They have thought of every single detail. Even leaving us mince pies and some wine. Not a single item not thought about to make our stay as easy as possible. The apartment was so clean and smelt amazing. Very comfortable bed. Finished to an incredibly high standard. Bala its self has always been a favourite place of mine it’s now by far the best place ever, as my partner dropped to one knee and asked the question . On speaking with the owners who were so helpful and kind about our experience and stay that’s when they informed us that Llety Cariad translates to the Love Inn in English. Bala itself is beautiful and the community spirit is great. Amazing food available at the pub next door. And don’t be fooled by small town they do wild nights out! Everywhere we went was so welcoming and friendly.

Great place to stay! Very spacious, we had 7 people and never felt like we were in each others way. Bedrooms were all great and would be lovely to sit on the patio if it were sunny. 10 minutes away from the little town of Bala which had plenty of shops, pubs and food to grab. Close to other locations and sights and within walking distance of a few lovely views. Top stay!

The apartment is beautiful and it’s location right on the lake ensures you have a peaceful and beautiful escape. The view over the lake is spectacular and it was lovely to see all the wildlife and birds whilst relaxing and enjoying the view sat on the balcony with a good book and a cup of tea. Easy to find from the directions provided and the hosts are lovely.

This is the second time we've stayed at Snowdonia Cottage (Glyn Mawr).. It is a beautiful cottage in an absolutely stunning and quiet location. If you want total seclusion and tranquillity, this is it. Simon is a great host/owner who is very quick to respond to any requests via the app. Donna, the housekeeper, is lovely, and she works very hard to ensure the property is immaculately kept. The cottage is minimally furnished, but to a very high standard of quality, comfort, and finish... To be honest there isn't anything that could top it; it's near on perfect in our opinion, and we'd return in a heartbeat.

This was our second visit to Hen Ysgubor. The hosts are very helpful and on site if there are any issues. The property is excellent for a restful get away, well furnished and comfortable. Everything you could wish for. We would definately recommend it. Extremely clean and tidy and has stunning views from both the front and back of the property. We will be returning.

It is a beautiful location with wonderful veiws. It's a quiet secluded location which blends into the natural surroundings. The only noise at nighttime was the wildlife. I would recommend this place to anyone for a peaceful getaway. Beatrice was a wonderful host who was so helpful and friendly

The accommodation was brilliant and cosy, and it had everything that you need when travelling with the family. The host came to greet us even though we arrived late and made us feel very welcomed. The cottage is clean, the beds are comfortable, and everything you need is provided. The kitchen is very well equipped and they provided us with some basics for breakfast, which was lovely! The location is stunning, we will definitely come back if we have the chance. Thank you very much for a lovely weekend getaway!

Good location to travel around , warm cosy living room and a bed i wanted to bring home , so comfy , kitchen well equiped and nice little touches of tea and coffee . washing up essentials that are always forgot when self catering , nice touches .
