The room brings you back in the Indiana Jones movies and all those 1800 early 1900 movies and period. The apartment is i the addict of a house, it has two rooms and . It has a free public parking space (there are several in front of the building)- As it was a free day/national day we did not care about if we need to pay for the parking.... Out of the pictures you can see it is a special kind of apartment, but once you actually open it you enter the mesmerizing world that was prepared for you! A lot of antiques (from coins, old books, old type writers, even an old BB gun to furniture all is amazing). But then you have a modern kitchen with all the up to date devices (philips sense coffee machine, oven, washing machine, etc) all blended in such a way that you are still transported back in time but with the 2025 devices. Cool! . WIFI working, TV working , very modern kitchen. A family with 2 kids spent here 2-3 hours discovering the apartment, taking cool pictures. The idea of the apartment is that of an 1800 explorer tent in the middle of Africa /safari! I must say , we were impressed, we were blown away! So much fun. For one night stay , it took us a lot of fun time to explore the inside of the "tent"

We had a nice relaxing 2 nights stay here, before driving further through France. Our host was very friendly and helpful and even drove ahead of us so that we coud find our way to the large supermarket, nearby ( it was getting dark when we arrived) He speaks English fluently - I'm afraid our French is not as good ! The self catering studio was extremely comfortable and clean, with all the facilities we required. Bedding and towels are all provided. It was perfect for our little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, as the patio doors open straight out to the garden and there are nice walks nearby and it was lovely to see the horses, geese and the owners friendly dogs too. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom was really nice - it is also suitable, with a wide door to the bathroom, for anyone with mobility issues, and wheel chair users. Also suitable for those with a baby and young children as the studios are all on one level and easy to get in and out with a pushchair. A nice quiet area, yet not far from a big shopping centre and various sightseeing attractions.

A pretty little apartement in a converted attic: the apartment is stylish and really makes the most of every square centimeter to pack all the things you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Eveything was spotlessly clean and new/well maintained. The lovely views of the Loire and rooftops are a bonus. Cafes and shops (Place du Marche, Place Saint Pierre) are only a 3 minute walk away. And if you want to test your fitness, turn right and head up the hill to the castle: a fantastic panorama awaits! We parked easily, just 30m away. Our host was responsive and always very helpful.

No meals, self catering & basic facilities for cooking. Booked property at extra cost was not suitable 2 floors up & no outside space. Antonio offered another on ground level with access to oven etc next door, though not used. Roomy bathroom. Pool was good, often only swimmers - early in season. Surrounding woodland attractive. Cadre Noir worth a visit, very interesting. Saumur not far away.

Best value place I have stayed in and spotlessly clean. The owner David has renovated really nicely. It has about 12 rooms. Mine was looking over the back garden with privacy from big trees. Liked that we had a great kitchen to use, and could eat outside in the peaceful garden or inside. Safe place for my bike too. We could use the washing machine, which was excellent.

The property is beautifully open plan and is in a fantastic location, the decor is lovely and the bathroom spacious, toilet is separate which was good and a large table in the kitchen big enough for six people.

We love this apartment! This was our third visit and we never tire of the wonderful location, the excellent facilities and the friendly,helpful owners. There is so much space, wonderful comfortable bed and a kitchen that is well equipped for all needs. The apartment is perfectly situated for exploring the lovely town of Saumur and there are plenty of sites of interest nearby.
