This is a wonderful apartment in a quiet location. We stayed for 6 days over Christmas and very much enjoyed our time there. The host was very welcoming and the apartment was beautifully furnished with high quality modern fittings. The owner clearly has a good eye for interior design. It was spotlessly clean and every possible need was catered for. There were also a lot of really nice extra touches like travel packs, sewing kits, coffee, biscuits etc. Clearly a lot of thought was given to what a traveller might need. The coffee machine, fridge, dishwasher and microwave were all a godsend. There was a wonderful bathroom, shower, wet room area with lots of space which was a real luxury. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well throughout our stay. It is a very good location for visiting neighbouring towns and cities, such as Monschau and Aachen. There was a parking space provided in front of the apartment. Overall a very enjoyable stay and we would highly recommend.

We used JaRa 1 as a stop-over on a long car journey. It served its purpose exceedingly well. It was comfortable, very clean, and it resulted in a restful stay. Amazingly it contains a sauna which the owners proposed to fire up before our arrival! This being just a one-night stay, we decided not to take advantage of that kind offer. The place has a lovely decor with very ‘peaceful’, relaxing photos on the walls.
