The hostel is situated in a perfect location in the village center. Situated a 80 meters from the main road, so very quiet. Supermarket, bakery, Best Coffee and the company for booking rafting and other tours are at walking distance. In the morning you can hike opposite of the road to the nature reserve for birdwatching; and there are so many species of birds! In the afternoon you can walk to the river and have a swim or dip in to it to cool off. I booked a private room with private bathroom and the rooms are very big, so you can stay with 4 persons. The hostel has a lovely view, expect Ara's and many multicolored birds in the backyard snacking from the banana's. The owner Maria is so warm and friendly, and there are 2 lovely dogs who want to be friends with you as soon as you arrive. The facilities in the kitchen are very good. Everything is super clean and tidy, value for money is superb!

This place is authentic, the family is so beautiful and nice. We love the honest and the calme ambiance! Nothing is too much, everything is simple but juste pure. The night tour was beautiful, so we'll explained, and very interesting. The welcoming totally perfect even if we booked last minute. And the breakfast... Just incredible. Not only because of the food, it was very good and gluten free for me, which can be complicate sometimes, but mostly because of the mother. The is a beautiful soul, full of love and kindness. Thank you for everything!

Large and beautiful cabin. Fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful surroundings for nature lovers. Kind and hospitable host. We took the dinner in the house and would recommend it. We also went with Wendy for a bird walk in the morning and a frog walk in the evening. We recommend them both. The trail to the waterfall is also worth trying.

Gorgeous property right in the jungle - absolutely amazing setting. Very welcoming hosts. The Cabin was really clean and the outdoor kitchen was pretty cool. The beds were very comfortable. There was an information booklet in the cabin which had an amazing range of activities, which you can book with the hosts.

We liked a lot and in fact we liked everything! Very approachable and caring host who provided us with Tipps how to use our time. Very modern architecture and high quality in every detail. Big kitchen and everything you need to prepare breakfast. A big terrace with comfortable chairs and a hammock with a fantastic view at the nearby river (recommend a boat tour with “Kaptain Daniel” btw). It really is a little paradise and the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Clean! That's so important. Hot water showers. Fully equipped kitchen with brand new, high quality pots and appliances. Thanks to all the previous guests who took care of it. Covered parking is a plus in rainy Costa Rica. Owner is readily available, kind and knowledgeable. Check in easy with key box, and owner lives in property. Fenced in and felt very safe.

The host is friendly and understands what travelers need. The room has everything you could possibly need, and we had a good stay at this accommodation. Everything is clean and tidy. We also park our motorcycle safely. Definitely coming back again when I visit Costa Rica someday in the future.
