The lovely photos don’t even do it justice. A lot of care has gone into these villas and gardens… it’s a really magical place. You feel surrounded my nature and the villa’s are beautifully done. Really comfortable, big beds and lovely bathrooms. The fans kept us cool at night even though the temp was high. Some reviews mention a problem with ants but we kept all food in the fridge and didn’t have a problem. Make sure you enter ‘Finca Chilanga’ into Waze/Google Maps in addition to the address provided on Booking . com - we just copied and pasted the address on our booking and ended up adventuring up a gnarly off road track that our brilliant 4wd only just about managed. Turned out we’d driven straight past it! Ooops. We only stayed for our final night in Costa Rica but could have definitely stayed longer. The pool was beautiful and refreshing too. And the hosts very friendly and helpful! Don’t hesitate to book!

Great location, great price. Everything was made easy. There was coffee and tea available. I had appointments in Esparza and this was a great place to stay.

The lodge was lovely and cosy. The host was lovely and friendly and explained lots about the property, the pool and hot tub. It was very quiet and comfortable. It is great value for money with a lovely hike around the area available on the doorstep.

The couple who runs the property are so kind and accommodating. We arrived late and they came to meet us and show us everything. They also made us dinner even though it was late. On my girlfriend’s birthday they brought her a cake with our dinner. Its a beautiful place to stay with great views and a super comfy bed too.
