The hotel and its rooms correspond to the descriptions and photos. The Lanshan Moon Hotel (now Fairyland Hotel) is in an excellent location in beautiful nature. Many places of interest (Moon Hill, caves, ancient villages, bicycle routes etc.) are very close, but also Yangshuo is only 13 minutes away by car. But the best thing about the hotel is host and hotel manager Mark, who speaks good English and knows the area very well; he can organize individual excursions, scooters and bicycles and gave us tips for activities every day. In addition, individual dishes can be prepared in the kitchen on request. All in all, we spent a wonderful vacation there!

The room was amazing and very spacious. The view is like nothing else. The hotel staff/manager were really kind, and we had a lot of fun sharing a moment with them drinking tea and discussing our respective cultures. They were very helpful in organizing our visits and also provided an offline translator to use during our stay. Would definitly stay with them again! (The chinese breakfast is awesome)

I would give this a 1000/10 rating if I could. I have been to many countries and this is the best/favourite accommodation I've ever booked for any holiday. The villa rooms were incredible - amazing view, perfect air-conditioning, spacious beyond belief, tastefully aesthetic. The nicer rooms with the river view are east-facing, perfect for watching the sunrise. There is a tea room and open area on the top floor which I used to host local friends, also having a great view of the river. We also managed to catch the dying embers of the sunset. There is a nice common area on the fourth floor with a kitchen, washing machine, fridge, and a large dining table as well. The host is super accommodating and helpful, offering 24-hour support over WeChat. Whenever I reached out for help for accidentally locked doors or to make minor changes to our booking, he always responded quickly.

The location was great - set back from the city, but it's easy to rent mopeds to get yourself around without a problem. The views of the mountains were spectacular, and the customer service was super :)
