The owner of the hotel, Mark is a unique person! It creates a very kind atmosphere in the hotel. In two days, it was as if we had become one big family. Mark spent a lot of time with us. We traveled a lot to beautiful places that not everyone knows and that not all tourists visit. Mark has become my brother over the past few days. These were the most exciting and eventful days of our entire trip to China. I didn't expect such care. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

The view of the mountain range was gorgeous. We got a great view of the 9 horse mountains view. The room was clean and furnished with purpose. Authentically Guilin with a touch of modern aesthetic. Our family room had Doraemon bedding theme (our daughter loved it). The water pressure in the shower was consistently strong. The water heated almost instantly. The beds had the perfect firmness and it was quiet at night which made it a dream for a good night sleep. We were very close to the viewpoint 20RMB bill for great photos. The individual in room climate control was very responsive. The hot breakfast was so yummy and plentiful Guilin noodle soup (pickled vegetables, shitake, sliced pork, roasted peanuts), corn on the cob, boiled eggs, tea and hot water to drink. The decor was on theme throughout the hotel. The friendly service/hosts were very helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel was also steps away from the river, where we were able to see boats and bamboo rafts.

I would give this a 1000/10 rating if I could. I have been to many countries and this is the best/favourite accommodation I've ever booked for any holiday. The villa rooms were incredible - amazing view, perfect air-conditioning, spacious beyond belief, tastefully aesthetic. The nicer rooms with the river view are east-facing, perfect for watching the sunrise. There is a tea room and open area on the top floor which I used to host local friends, also having a great view of the river. We also managed to catch the dying embers of the sunset. There is a nice common area on the fourth floor with a kitchen, washing machine, fridge, and a large dining table as well. The host is super accommodating and helpful, offering 24-hour support over WeChat. Whenever I reached out for help for accidentally locked doors or to make minor changes to our booking, he always responded quickly.

The staff were exceptional. Went out of their way to ensure we got to see things. Ensured we got from Guilin and back to get our train back to Hong Kong. Booked our events. Nothing was to much trouble for Diane and her team. The outlook from the rooms is beautiful. Great location.
